The blare of a horn resonates through the city piercing the smog and through my reverie. I blink, and glance through the curtain of meat at the person inspecting my wares. Time to work.

From the Artist: I was struck by this street vendor and his dog while traveling to a local temple in Henan province.
He was still there late in the evening as I was leaving the temple. I wondered what his day of people watching and contemplation was like.
